I recently received a set of awesome mugs. There were four in the set, however there were only two different patterns. The package they were contained in made all four mugs appear to have different designs on them. Upon opening the package I realized the other sides of the mugs contained the same images as the ones displayed through the cellophane wrapper.
Make no mistake, the images impressed upon the mugs' surfaces are amazing and I could not have found a cooler set of coffee mugs anywhere. (They were purchased from BigLots) A lot of the times you will find a really cool coffee mug and written on the packaging or on the bottom of the cup will be some disclaimer about how pregnant unwed mothers shouldn't drink out of it because it could turn your unborn fetus into a rabid woodland creature. Perhaps the paint upon the exterior of the mug contains led or some chemical that, when microwaved or put through a dishwasher, creates a chemical reaction that causes the New Kids on the Block to have another reunion tour.
It should be known that the mugs I have in my possession contain very intricate artwork and are microwave and dishwasher safe. I was thoroughly impressed upon discovering this.
It should be known that these mugs were unlike any I had previously encountered. Containing, not just still shots of scenes from a particular movie, but actually holding some form of original conceptual artwork based on the characters from this movie. Completely original and definitely awe inspiring.
At this point you're probably asking yourself how I could go on for so long about a simple set of coffee mugs that came packaged with a few packets of hot chocolate? Those of you reading who have a love for Star Wars as big as I do will understand. The set contained two mugs with a scene of Luke and Vader ready to duel one another with their lightsabers drawn. Luke in his black outfit from Jedi, both hands on his weapon preparing to defend himself and Vader lunging forward, saber extended before him. A pretty sweet cup, if I do say so myself but not as good as the second design. Han stands with blaster drawn and a look of cocky confidence on his face. His vest is unbuttoned and flaps as he rushes forward turning to fire at his assailant. His attacker is clad in his usual armor with his blaster drawn ready to fire at Han. His jet pack spits tongues of flame as it thrusts him into the air above Hon. His Mandalorian symbol clearly plastered behind him as he tracks his target. I cannot tell you how excited I am to own a coffee mug with Boba Fett on it!!! So excited I needed more than one exclamation point to truly express it.
This set is a must for any Star Wars fan.
That is all.
