Day one of my published website - Are you out there, World? If you can hear me I'd love for you to comment on my work.
Broke and working a part time job, so paying for a real website was out of the question at this point. Maybe I'll get lucky and tons of employers will happen across my page, like what they see and offer me a job... Wishful thinking? Whatever the future may hold for me, I hope the work I've done throughout my college careers brings joy to an audience somewhere. I know it certainly has brought me and the people involved a lot of joy.
Most of the site is self explanatory but if you're lost and unsure of what We're In DeKalb, How Are You? is, allow me to clarify.
A while ago a friend of mine and I decided we wanted to take over a parody news segment being filmed at our college newspaper. We took the helm after the two Dans who started the show graduated. Susan Cathers and myself were the newest anchors for the show and were shortly joined by Michael Marten. The WIDHAY trifecta had its share of ups and downs throughout the semester but it all came together to create a semi-decent season of the show.
Enjoy and thanks for visiting.
